Our Historic Hotel in Merida, Mexico
With over 100 years of history, our boutique hotel in Mérida is a sanctuary, a museum, and an Eden all at once. Originally built in 1905, the mansion is partially located on Calle 59, the main street of Mérida, and a path that has witnessed significant historical events, such as the passage of General Porfirio Díaz, who visited the state in 1906. Inside the premises, the spaces have been carefully renovated, always aiming to preserve the unique charm of period buildings, yet with a modern touch that places them perfectly in the 21st century. The luxury rooms, designed around the grand central tree that nourishes the entire internal garden ecosystem, are embraced by lush and abundant greenery.

Philosophy of Boutique Hotel in Merida
Kuun – gold and Nuuk – big. Together, they form the phrase “big gold”, which perfectly describes the privileged location in which we find ourselves – a jewel in the heart of the city and a true treasure to protect and nurture. Kuun – oro y Nuuk big. Together, they form the phrase “big gold”, which perfectly describes the privileged location in which we find ourselves – a jewel in the heart of the city and a true treasure to protect and nurture.
Künük Hotel Boutique, in addition to being a space to rest and enjoy, is also a small nature reserve – home to multiple species of birds, fish, and trees of all kinds – and a benefactor of the community that showcases the undeniable local talent with which we work day by day; the palm slippers handmade by Mexican artisans, or the decorative textiles in the rooms are just a few examples.
Merida Restaurant
609 is a Concept Bar Cultural located in a classic Yucatecan mansion, adorned with early 20th-century French-Mexican architecture. It is a place where the fine arts (music, painting, theater, architecture) converge, offering a varied selection of wines and spirits, as well as the house’s traditional beer, accompanied by an international menu of uncomplicated food for any time of day.
THE MEXICAN WHITE CITY
Things To Do in Merida, Mexico
The Barrio de Santiago, where our beautiful hotel in Merida, Mexico is located, was founded, like the city, in 1542 and is one of the most emblematic neighborhoods from the center, not only for its high historical value but also for the facades of its houses, the buildings, and the architectural frills that refer to the colonial era of Mexico.
The neighborhood is made up of 19 blocks in which all kinds of buildings coexist, from religious sites, such as the Cathedral of San Ildefonso, through fruit, vegetable, handicraft, and flower markets, restaurants with typical food such as Puchero and Cochinita Pibil, to the Government Palace, and many more.
The historic center is the perfect place to go for a walk, with something new waiting for you around every corner and wonderful cultural shows throughout the day, such as the Musical Remembrances in the Parque de Santiago.
Without a doubt, Merida is a destination worth your time.
